It’s been a little while since our last Feel Good Friday, so we thought it was the perfect time to bring it back—with a little extra joy this time around.

Meet Smokey!
Smokey is a sweet 2-year-old pup who was diagnosed with Portosystemic Shunt (PSS)—a serious condition where blood bypasses the liver, causing dangerous toxin buildup. Without surgery, it’s fatal.
His loving mom, Erin, had already spent thousands on diagnostics and care when she came to us. The life-saving surgery, estimated at over $10,000, was Smokey’s only shot—and thanks to your support, we were able to contribute directly to the cost.
Erin worked incredibly hard to raise the rest, and we’re overjoyed to share that Smokey’s surgery was a success!

Now Smokey is healing up, with a bright and healthy future ahead—all thanks to the kindness of this community.
Meet Jaxson!
Jaxson is a happy-go-lucky 3-year-old Chocolate Lab who wasn’t feeling so great. His mom noticed signs of a painful ear infection but had recently hit a rough patch financially and needed some help.
Thanks to your donations, we covered the cost for Jaxson’s vet visit at Banfield Pet Hospital, where he received an exam, ear cytology, and medication.
We’re happy to report that Jaxson is doing so much better now—back to his usual goofy, tail-wagging self!
