A Season of Thanks & Giving For Pets

As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re reflecting on just how much we have to be grateful for. This month, our community has shown incredible kindness and generosity — from local businesses hosting donation drop-offs, to supporters purchasing pies to help pets, to amazing fundraising partners like Just Around the Corner, and David Warden’s thoughtful sponsorship of the CAL Pet Food Pantry.

Your compassion reminds us why Plymouth is such a special place for both pets and people.

Gratitude for Just Around The Corner!

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Just Around The Corner for hosting such a heartwarming event to honor Flynn and celebrate Samson as the new Hometown Hound!

Because of JAC’s incredible efforts — and the generosity of everyone who attended — they raised over $2,000 in Flynn’s memory and collected a carload of pet food and supplies for Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals!

We are so grateful to JAC for creating such a meaningful tribute to Flynn, and we offer our congratulations to Samson on his well-deserved recognition as the new Hometown Hound!

Thank You to Our Pet Food Pantry Drop-Off Partners!

We’re beyond thankful to our local businesses who are opening their doors and hearts to serve as donation drop-off locations for our pet food pantries. Every bag, can, and treat collected helps feed pets in homes that need a little extra help this season. Your ongoing generosity helps us keep tails wagging all across Plymouth!

 Drop-Off Locations:

The Market at Pinehills

Club Pilates – 174 Colony Place, Plymouth

Plymouth Dancewear – 372 Court Street, North Plymouth

VCA Plymouth Animal Hospital – 100 Industrial Park Road (through Dec. 1 only)

Special Thanks to David Warden

We’d also like to recognize David Warden, a member of the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Plymouth Center for Active Living, for sponsoring the CAL Pet Food Pantry for the month of November.

David’s sponsorship, made in loving memory of his cat Isabelle, ensures that local seniors can continue to feed and care for their beloved companions. This is David’s second consecutive year supporting the pantry — a truly touching gesture of love and compassion.

In Closing: Our Thanks to You

As we head into the holidays, our hearts are full of gratitude.
Thank you to every business, volunteer, and supporter who’s donated, ordered, attended, or spread the word about Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals.

Because of you, more pets are fed, cared for, and loved — and more pet owners in our community are supported when they need it most.

From all of us at Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals — thank you for helping us make this a truly thankful season.
